This German style radish salad is a great companian to almost every dish not matter if you serve fish, meat or a vegetarian entree. I makes also a perfect side for barbecues and potlucks.

The light vinegeraitte makes it a great choice for health concious people.

Ingredients

  • 15 red radishes
  • 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp. coarse pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 2 tbsp. green onions

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine vinegar, oil, sugar, salt and pepper.
  • Trim and slice radishes thinly.
  • Add radishes to vinaigrette and toss.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
