    Ingredients
      

    • 1 slice farmer`s bread
    • 2 tsp. butter
    • 1 large tomato
    • 1 tbsp. finely chopped onions

    Instructions
     

    • Remove stem and cut tomato in slices.
    • Spread butter on the slice of bread and place the tomato slices on top.
    • Top with finely chopped onions.

    Tips

    Sprinkle with green onions instead of white onions if you prefer a milder aroma. Serve the tomato sandwich bites along with some other variations of German sandwich bites.
