Tipsy Cherry Compote
The shot of Black Forest Kirsch brandy gives that dessert it´s special kick.

Tipsy Cherry Compote
Ingredients
- 2 oz. tart frozen or fresh cherries
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 shots Kirschwasser traditional German clear cherry brandy
- 2 tbsp. corn starch
Instructions
- In a small sauce pan bring cherries, sugar and lemon juice to a boil.
- Mix corn starch with the Kirschwasser.
- Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan and simmer on low heat for about 2 min.
Serving Tip:
Serve with homemade vanilla sauce, vanilla ice cream or on waffles.
