    Apfelsaftschorle is a simple but very popular recipe. Most restaurants offer this non-alcoholic drink on their menu. In this short video I will show you how to make homemade Apfelsaftschorle which is sparkling apple cider.

    It’s a very refreshing drink and has fewer calories than pure apple juice. That´s why it is the favorite drink in German beer gardens. In Germany you can buy pre-mixed Apfelsaftschorle, but a lot of people prefer to do their own mix.

    Ingredients
      

    • ½ cup cold apple juice
    • ½ cup cold sparkling water i.e. Gerolsteiner, San Pellegrino

    Instructions
     

    • Add apple juice to a large glass.
    • Pour sparkling water into the glass.
    • Serve without ice.

    Serving Tip

    The traditional mix ratio is usually 1:1 and the drink is served without ice, but you can adjust to your personal preference.
